Let your imagination run wild at Westonbirt Arboretum this Easter!

Throughout this Spring, Westonbirt Arboretum are running a special woodland family trail perfect for children of all ages.

 

Westonbirt Arboretum’s ‘Nature Superheroes’ trail runs until Friday 31 May 2024.

 

Located less than an hour’s drive from Bristol, Westonbirt Arboretum is one of the most important, beautiful plant collections in the world, boasting 15,000 specimens, and 2,500 species of tree from around the world. As well as being a vital conservation spot, it is also a beautiful place to visit for the whole family!

On this wonderful trail, visitors of all ages must search for nature superheroes that emerge every spring at Westonbirt. By taking part in this spring family activity, you will be able to find all about wildlife around the arboretum. Will you be able to find all nine creatures and discover their amazing superpowers?

 

When you arrive, head to the Welcome Building to collect a trail map before following the route to the left, where you will find a different superhero at each marked stop. There will also be fun activities to complete along the way.

 

You will be asked to rate each superhero out of ten as you go. Which superhero will be your favourite? At the end of the trail, you’ll be able to create your own nature superhero on the back of the trail map – let your imagination run wild!

 

The trail is approximately one mile long and is suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and buggies. This self-guided trail is suitable for children aged 5 years old and over. Westonbirt Arboretum’s ‘Nature Superheroes’ trail runs until Friday 31 May 2024.
