Lakota Gardens has been nominated for Best Event at this year's Drum & Bass Arena Awards, recognised as one of the UK's top events series in what's been a turbulent year for the industry.
Opened this summer in response to the coronavirus crisis, Lakota Gardens has hosted a wide range of socially-distanced events and parties in 2020, headlined by a forward-thinking lineup of world-renowned DJs, local promoters and exciting emerging acts.

A long-standing hub for Bristol's burgeoning drum & bass scene, Lakota sadly confirmed in July that the venue would close in the near future, set to make way for the construction of a new block of flats and office spaces.
Despite the impact of the coronavirus crisis, the venue team spent most of the initial UK lockdown shining a light on emerging local artists, with several featuring in a marathon 28-hour live stream to mark the club's 28th birthday in June.
Opened in July, Lakota Gardens was a welcome development for Bristol, and opportunity for electronic music fans to party safely, albeit in what was, at first, a completely alien format.
Taking over the Stokes Croft Beer Garden, the new outdoor venue hosted some huge events featuring some of the UK's most in-demand DJs, including AC13, Sherelle, Skepsis and many more.
Announcing their nomination, the Lakota team said: "We're honoured to have had Lakota Gardens nominated for the Best Event in the Drum & Bass Arena awards!
"We've worked extremely hard to create a space for everyone to enjoy amidst the madness of 2020 and hope you have all come to socialise with friends and loved ones.
"If you have a spare minute, we would really appreciate you voting for Lakota Gardens in the Best Event category."
