Krust shares new single, 'Negative Returns', taken from forthcoming album

Krust is back with a bang ahead of the release of his latest album, The Edge of Everything.

Bristol drum & bass pioneer Krust has released another new track from his forthcoming album The Edge of Everything, due for release on Crosstown Rebels on Friday 6 November.

The eagerly-anticipated record is Krust's first in over 14 years, with the forward-thinking producer and DJ opting to go on a lengthy hiatus at the peak of his powers in 2008.

Named after the NASA terminology for the point of no return, new single 'Negative Returns' is a firmly future-facing release, and a window into the mind of a rejuvenated and artistically-liberated Bristol D&B icon.

Leaving behind major success in the mid-2000s to re-think and rearrange his philosophical, mental and creative processes, Krust has returned from the periphery with a vividly transformative new project.

The new sound on The Edge of Everything is undeniably Krust, but deeper, freer, more intense and more artistically well-realised than ever before.

The new record has garnered stellar reviews from both Krust's contemporaries and the music press, with Ben UFO calling it "my favourite work of his since the True Stories era" and fellow Bristol artist Om Unit declaring it "the sound of a master transcending the genre".

Resident Advisor were full of praise for the project, noting that The Edge of Everything "captures the artist at his most ambitious," while Uncut described it as "a rich, dense, cinematic journey into inner space" as part of their 8/10 review.

Listen to 'Negative Returns' via Spotify, and buy physical and digital copies of the album via Crosstown Rebels' Bandcamp page.
