The club have put together an all-star Bristol lineup for their marathon birthday celebrations.

Lakota will be celebrating their 28th birthday in trademark style this weekend, inviting an extensive lineup of Bristol-based DJs and live acts to perform as part of a huge 28-hour charity live stream.

Running from 16:00 on Friday 5 June through to 21:00 on Saturday 6, the stream will be showcasing the very best in Bristol techno, drum & bass, grime and much more while raising money for The Trussell Trust and the St Pauls Adventure Playground fund.

Celebrating 28 years of one of Bristol's most iconic clubs, Lakota are bringing the party to homes across the city and beyond with one of the most ambitious live stream events of the lockdown so far.

Boasting a huge lineup featuring the likes of Eats Everything, DJ Die, Ellie Stokes and many, many more, Lakota will be broadcasting live on Facebook, Youtube and Twitch non-stop, for 28 hours.

An array of revered Bristol DJs and MCs are joined on the lineup by some renowned local crews and long-time Lakota affiliates, including Tribe of Frog and Rumble in the Jungle.

Lakota have partnered with The Trussell Trust and the St Pauls Adventure Playground fund to raise money for the two charities throughout the event.

Viewers and virtual attendees will also be in with the chance of getting their hands on a range of prizes, from festival tickets to a £200 cash prize, a year's free entry to Lakota, a case of Red Stripe, a meal for two at Slix and a pack of exclusive Lakota toilet roll.

Clubs may still be closed for the foreseeable future, but this is certain to be the biggest party Bristol has seen in months. Be sure to head to the Lakota Facebook page for news and updates, and tune in from 16:00 on Friday 5 June!
