Siren Festival announces a celebration of everything EDM for Sunday
Posted on: 23 Apr 2024Siren Festival, one of Bristol’s biggest harbourside music festivals, is returning this summer – and they’ve just announced their electronic-loving lineup for the Sunday.
Whilst Siren is usually reserved as a haven for DnB lovers and old-school junglists, they’re branching out and popping off this year with a programme clearly designed to bring the magic of music to everyone at the sunny harbourside festival.
Previous announcements for this year’s Siren includes the return of classic Siren stage Hospitality on the Harbour on Saturday 3 August, which sees DJs like Andy C, Netsky and High Contrast take to the stage at the Lloyds Amphitheatre – along with special guests A Little Sound.
On top of that (as if it wasn’t enough), Siren have also announced a truly earthshaking headliner (or should that be sea-shaking?) - the sirens of pop themselves, Sugababes, coming to the Amphitheatre on Thursday 1 August. It’s a surprise, but a welcome one – and now, in the same spirit, Siren Festival have announced another exciting night as part of their lineup.
Siren have announced their Sunday night event for this year’s lineup: FishTales. The new event will see a celebration of electronic dance music, with acts like social-media-sensation Fish56Octagon, and 26-piece orchestra, Symphonica, playing dance classics as full orchestral performances.
“With Bristol's rich legacy in dance music, it was the perfect opportunity for us to host a celebration of its history and evolution.” Tom Hoyle, co-founder of Siren, said. “We can’t wait to be back in the sun and dancing the night away this summer. Nobody will be able to take guests through the history of dance quite like FishOctagon and Symphonica can.”
Siren Festival takes place from Thursday 1 August – Saturday 3 August at Lloyds Amphitheatre, with FishTales taking place on Sunday 4 August. Tickets go on sale Thursday, 25 April, at 10am. Get yours here.
