The Chorus of Westerly will be joined by the City of Bristol Choir and Bath Philharmonia in an extraordinary performance that will bring together over 230 musicians from both sides of the Atlantic on the Beacon Hall stage under the artistic direction of Westerly’s Andrew Howell and Bristol’s very own David Ogden.

Those in attendance can expect a programme jam-packed with wonderful pieces. The first half will include timeless choral favourites including Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’, Herber Howell’s ‘Magnificat from the Collegium Regale’ service and John Rutter’s bright and brilliant ‘Gloria’.

Mozart fans rejoice because the second half will be dedicated to the legendary Austrian composer’s ‘Great’ Mass in C Minor, a profound choral masterpiece blending intricate counterpoint with emotive melodies, showcasing Mozart’s genius in sacred music.

As ever, Bristol Beacon’s busy programme features plenty of other classical and orchestral performances including the London Symphony Orchestra with Sir Antonio Pappano, the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain, The Hallé with Sir Mark Elder and much more.
