Comedy favourite Greg Davies is bringing his first tour in seven years to Bristol!

The larger-than-life comedian has today announced an eagerly anticipated new stand-up tour, dubbed ‘Full Fat Legend’, that will be his biggest to date.

 

Greg Davies will perform a triple header at The Bristol Hippodrome on Tuesday 8, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 October 2024.

 

With dates scheduled at massive venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena, Davies’ new tour is sure to prove a popular spectacle as the Taskmaster star will play 55 dates throughout the UK and Ireland. General sale tickets for this show go live at 10 AM this Thursday 28 March.

An award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, actor and raconteur, Greg Davies first left an imprint on the UK public by playing the psychotic Head of Sixth Form, Mr Gilbert, in Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners and then as the creator and star of Man Down – also on Channel 4.

 

Davies has hosted the BAFTA award-winning mega smash hit Taskmaster ever since 2015 and has since become the host of the revived iconic gameshow, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, where he is joined by team captains Daisy May Cooper and Noel Fielding.

 

He also hosted the 2018 edition of the legendary Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, which was watched by more than 152 million viewers worldwide. His 2018 show, ‘You Magnificent Beast’, became a Netflix Special whilst his shows ‘The Back of my Mum’s Head’ and ‘Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog’ were released on DVD.

 

In 2021, Greg took on the mantle of writing and starring in the BBC One sitcom, The Cleaner, and has previously been nominated for a BAFTA for his leading role in Cuckoo, alongside Andy Samberg, Taylor Lautner and Andie McDowell. Other prominent acting credits include the Christmas specials of Doctor Who and Brassic.
