Nina Conti is a true national treasure: she has won a British Comedy Award, stormed Live at the Apollo, Russell Howard’s Good News and Sunday Night at the Palladium, as well as being nominated for a BAFTA with her directorial debut, Her Master’s Voice (2012).
She began her career as an actress with the Royal Shakespeare Company, before genius, anarchic theatre director Ken Campbell inspired her to become a ventriloquist. She went on to win the prestigious Barry Award at the 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival for her solo show, ‘Complete and Utter Conti’.
In 2010, she sold out seasons in Edinburgh, London, Melbourne, Sydney and New York while 2014 saw her record a stand-up special of her show ‘Dolly Mixtures’. Conti has now announced a new entirely improvised ventriloquism show – touring the UK in 2025.
As well as Bristol, Nina Conti’s ‘Whose Face Is It Anyway?’ tour will drop by theatres in Edinburgh, St Albans, Norwich, Liverpool, Manchester, Cambridge, London, Richmond, York, Brighton, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leicester, Birmingham, Canterbury, Leeds, Southend and Oxford.
Nina Conti will perform at The Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday 9 February 2025 with tickets available to purchase now HERE.
