
Love plants? Love music? GreenStage have the night for you!
Posted on: 31 May 2024Bristol-based promotion company GreenStage pair the crème de la crème of the local music scene with the city’s very best plant shops.
From June 2024, GreenStage will be hosting a series of live sessions at Gloucester Road’s Leaf Plant Shop.
These popular live sessions have been held in plant shops across the city for over a year, where you can both discover your new favourite musical artist and your favourite new house plant. Whether it’s a date night, a solo mission or a regular gig experience, a performance in a plant shop creates a homelike atmosphere that should not be missed!

This distinctive night is the perfect opportunity to discover your new favourite local artist and the perfect plant for your house or garden. As well as being a gig, these events are live recording sessions held in various plant shops around Bristol.
GreenStage’s next live session is all set to take place at Fancy Plants. Located at 375 Gloucester Road, this indie houseplant shop offers a superb selection of plants, pots, soils, terrariums and everything you need to look after your plants, all curated by a friendly and expert team.
Past performers at these live sessions have included Kaleida Wild, bringing their unique universal sound to Old Market Plants alongside jazz-funk artist LYLE! and solo artist ZENA as well as modern R&B star Fletcher James, young singer-songwriter Charlie Hewlett and alt-indie artist Sam Paul at Wild Leaf.
What you can expect from these events is three separate live performances of various musical genres, each lasting 25 minutes with a 10-minute break in between each. Alongside the music, you’ll be able to learn more about interesting plants and shop with a discount, after the shop’s usual closing time!
