Hamilton will run at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 30 April to Saturday 22 June 2024.

A worldwide sensation, Hamilton has won various Olivier, Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prizes since its premiere Off-Broadway in 2015. After an acclaimed Broadway run, the show began its UK journey two years later at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre, where it continues to run to sell-out crowds.

 

Hamilton is the tale of America then, told by America now, using an eclectic score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and traditional Broadway music to create a revolutionary piece of theatre that tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, while also impacting culture, politics and education.

 

Featuring a book, score and lyrics from Miranda (who is also known for his work on Mary Poppins Returns, Encanto, Moana and more) and a creative team that previously collaborated for the Tony Award-winning musical In The Heights, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography.

 

The production team are currently gearing up for a massive tour of the UK and Ireland backed by a brand-new cast with Shaq Taylor (Beauty and the Beast) starring as Alexander Hamilton.
