With a refreshingly nostalgic style that harkens back to the Manchester scene of the early 1990s, the Sydney three-piece have been a real UK hit over the last few years.

DMA’S are set to play O2 Academy Bristol on Monday 11 December 2023.

Perfect for fans of 90s giants such as Oasis, Primal Scream and more, this eagerly anticipated show at one of Bristol’s top venues is the perfect event for shaking off the winter blues complete with wistful melodies and swirling guitar riffs aplenty – secure your tickets before they’re gone.

Formed back in 2012 by former members of grassroots Sydney rock band Underlight, Johnny Took and Tommy O’Dell along with guitarist Matt Mason, it wasn’t long before DMA’S were snapped up by local record label I Oh You and their debut single, ‘Delete’, soon followed.

This dreamy, acoustic song was met with widespread acclaim, shooting up the music charts and garnering a great deal of press interest. DMA’S’ debut album, Hills End, was released in early 2016, truly establishing the three-piece’s reputation as an indie force to be reckoned with throughout Australia, the UK and around Europe.

Since then, the group have released a succession of records, with their fourth, How Many Dreams?, coming earlier this year. DMA’S’ widespread success has led to collaborations with the likes of dance music legends Orbital and high-profile support slots with hero Liam Gallagher, Kasabian and more.

DMA’S Bristol show comes as part of a December UK tour that will also see them play venues in Norwich, Southampton, Nottingham (sold out), Liverpool (sold out), Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London (one of two shows sold out). Support comes from the Liverpool band, Stone.
