Everything Everything announce Bristol date as part of eight-date UK tour

This newly announced tour will see the Mercury-nominated art-rock outfit celebrating the release of their eagerly anticipated new album, Mountainhead – set for release in March 2024.

 

Everything Everything will play Bristol's Marble Factory on Saturday 6 April 2024.

 

Alongside this long-awaited announcement of an upcoming album and live dates, the Mancunian four-piece will premiere their brand new single, 'COLD REACTOR', at 7.30 PM tonight on YouTube. Tickets for Everything Everything's massive Bristol date go on sale at 9 AM on Friday 3 November 2023.

The diverse indie favourites - made up of frontman, guitarist, and laptop wizard Jonathan Higgs; drummer Mike Spearman, bass player Jeremy Pritchard, and guitarist Alex Robertshaw - emerged from the Manchester music scene in the late 2000s, instantly catching the attention of the wider music community.

 

Everything Everything's debut record, Man Alive, was released in the summer of 2010 to widespread critical acclaim thanks to their infectious brand of indie pop. The album earned the group a Mercury Prize nomination as well as a high-profile, nationwide support slot with the celebrated rock band Snow Patrol.

 

Two years later, the band's sophomore effort Arc was much lauded by music critics and fans alike, demonstrating their fluid artistic influences (which range from music heavyweights such as The Beatles to experimental poets like Ezra Pound) and earned a fifth-place finish on the UK album chart.

 

Their next album, Get To Heaven, was released in 2015 and peaked at number seven in the UK album chart and A Fever Dream arrived in 2017 with both albums demonstrating a more political vein in their music. A fifth studio album, RE-ANIMATOR, came in 2020 and 2022's Raw Data Feel saw the group experiment with AI technology.

 

New album, Mountainhead, drops on Friday 1 March 2024 with new single 'COLD REACTOR' premiering at 7.30 PM tonight on YouTube. Next year will see the four-piece head back out on the road with dates in Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge, London and, finally, Bristol.
