Bristol’s much loved Christmas Market returns this weekend

Posted on: 01 Nov 2023

It may seem early, but the reality is that Christmas is only 7 weeks away! Browse gifts and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Bristol Christmas Market.

This year’s Bristol Christmas Market runs from Friday 3 November until Saturday 23 December 2023.

Located right in the heart of Bristol City Centre, the Broadmead Christmas market is home to more than 35 individual stalls. As well as enjoying entertainment and visits from Santa and his elves, Bristolians can sip on delicious drinks, bob their heads to live music in the warmth of Jäger Barn Bar or book a private Igloo away from the bustle of the market.

The perfect way to enjoy the Bristol Christmas Market is to wander with a warming hot chocolate or mulled wine in hand. The market stalls sell a wide range of truly unique gifts and stocking fillers including hats, gloves and scarves; chess and puzzles; tree baubles; handmade jewellery and more.

It’s not only gifts on offer, there are also a number of edible goods for sale so why not treat yourself to a bite to eat? With offerings including traditional German bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, crêpes, Cheshire cheese, olives and various sweet treats all for sale.

Entertainment-wise, a range of artists will be showcasing their talents and spreading the Christmas joy from Thursdays to Sundays throughout the festive period. Santa himself will also be making various appearances, along with elves on stilts, bubble-blowing soldiers, balloon artists and Christmas choirs.

Bristol Christmas Market provides the perfect opportunity for festive TikToks and Instagrammable moments with a wooden Weihnactsmann, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and even a festive selfie frame.

Bristol Christmas Market runs from Friday 3 November until Saturday 23 December 2023.

The market is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM with gift and craft stalls open from 10 AM to 7 PM and food stalls open up until 10 PM.
