Pop superstar Paloma Faith is set for a massive show at Bristol Beacon next year

Following the release of her new single ‘How You Leave a Man’, Paloma Faith is touring the UK in 2024, supporting her upcoming new album, The Glorification of Sadness.

 

Paloma Faith will play Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall on Monday 15 April 2024.

 

Announcing her return with a new unapologetic single, which rails against the monotony of domesticity, Faith is returning for the first time since her last album, Infinite Things, in 2020. Since then, the pop star has split with her partner of nine years and father to her children – the aftermath of this was explored in the acclaimed 2021 BBC documentary, As I Am.

Known for her theatrical approach to pop music, Paloma Faith was, for several years, a distinctive presence on London’s cabaret circuit. She eventually broke into the mainstream with her 2009 debut album, Do You Want The Truth or Something Beautiful?, which broke into the UK Top 10.

 

Since then, Faith has remained one of British pop’s most vibrant acts, achieving a number two in the charts with both 2012’s ‘Fall to Grace’ and 2014’s ‘A Perfect Contradiction’. She also won a Brit Award in 2015 for Best Female Solo Artist and topped the UK charts with her 2017 album, The Architect.

 

Faith’s upcoming sixth album, The Glorification of Sadness, is a deeply personal record that harnesses the challenges of being a single mother and a pop star by taking a chronological journey through the cracking of an adult relationship, and with it a family. There are no conclusions, just questions from an artist obsessed with interrogating the status quo.

 

As well as Bristol, Paloma Faith’s 2024 UK tour will see the pop megastar play shows in Reading, Nottingham, Blackpool, Liverpool, Sheffield, Plymouth, London, Cardiff, Brighton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dunfermline, Hull, Birmingham, Ipswich, Bath, Stockton, York, Oxford, Southend, Bournemouth, Swansea, Llangollen, and Lincoln.
