Running in Bristol for almost two weeks, this smash hit production of Pretty Woman is currently travelling up and down the country as part of a massive tour.

 

Pretty Woman: The Musical will run at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 31 October to Saturday 11 November 2023.

 

Get ready for a sensational night of musical theatre from this West End production of Hollywood’s ultimate rom com, live in Bristol. Touring the UK and Ireland for the first ever time, this is all set to be one of Bristol’s theatrical highlights for 2023.

Once upon a time in the 80s, Vivian meets Edward and, from then on, her life is changed forever. This charming tale will sweep up the audience in their whirlwind romance with a theatrical take on a love story for the ages.

 

Get reacquainted with these iconic characters, reimagined thanks to this sensational show which is guaranteed to lift your spirits and get your heart beating. Pretty Woman: The Musical features the original music and lyrics from Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance in addition to a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter J.F. Lawton.

 

The musical also features Roy Orbison and Bill Dee’s smash hit number, ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’, that inspired the original movie from 1990. Starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, the film remains one of history’s best loved rom coms.

 

This incredible success is continued through Pretty Woman: The Musical which launched at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre in March 2018 before taking over Broadway and beyond. This current production is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell alongside a talented team of designers, musicians and, of course, actors.

 

As well as Bristol, Pretty Woman: The Musical will appear at theatre venues in Birmingham, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Hull, Wimbledon, York, Manchester, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Cardiff, Leeds, Sunderland, Belfast, Dublin, Stoke, Southampton, Nottingham, Leicester, Sheffield and more across 2023 and 2024.
