Multi-award-winning musical sensation, Hamilton, has today announced the full touring cast for a brand-new UK production that will hit Bristol for eight weeks next Summer.

 

Hamilton will run at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 30 April to Saturday 22 June 2024.

 

From world renowned star Lin-Manuel Miranda, this record-breaking, award-winning musical tells the backstory of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton in a ground-breaking musical format. Now, it’s set for a monumental UK and Ireland tour in 2024, backed by a brand-new cast of actors, vocalists, and dancers – meet the talented team below!

Having won a slew of Olivier, Tony, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prizes since it launched in 2015, Hamilton began its UK journey in 2017 at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre, where it continues to sell out performances and is currently booked until 2 March 2024. Hamilton continues to break records on Broadway, throughout the US, and all over the world.

 

The tale of America then, told by America now, Hamilton uses an eclectic score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and traditional Broadway style to create a revolutionary moment in theatre: telling the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and impacting culture, politics and education in the process.

 

With a book, score and lyrics from Lin-Manuel Miranda and a an immensely talented creative team that previously collaborated for the Tony Award-winning musical In The Heights, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s critically acclaimed biography.

 

Now gearing up for a tour of the UK and Ireland backed by a new cast, fans can begin to brush up on the lyrics for all their favourite Hamilton hits including ‘Alexander Hamilton’, ‘You’ll Be Back’, ‘Guns & Ships’, ‘The Schuyler Sisters’, ‘Wait For It’, ‘My Shot’ and a whole lot more.

 

The UK cast list will feature the likes of Shaq Taylor (Beauty and the Beast) as Alexander Hamilton, Sam Oladeinde (Come From Away) as Aaron Burr, Gabriela Benedetti (Cabaret) as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, KM Drew Boateng (The Color Purple) as Hercules Hulligan/James Madison and Daniel Boys (Nativity!) as King George III among others.
