The stage is set in Birmingham, 1989. Two school friends, Gemma and April, are busy with some very important business – namely, planning their lives using Number One Magazine quizzes and dreaming of snogging Rick Astley.

Fast forward to Birmingham in 2009 and the most dreaded day of their lives – their school reunion. Queue a night of drama, old flames and receding hairlines as friends reunite and everything from the past starts to slot into place. The biggest question is: what was with all that hairspray?

So, get ready to dust off your spandex, crimpers at the ready and press play and record at once. Complete with an unbeatable soundtrack, showstopping choreography from a UK dance legend and an original story, this is set to be a pretty special show!

NOW That’s What I Call A Musical will embark on a massive tour across 2024 and 2025 with show in Sheffield, Canterbury, Nottingham, Norwich, Newcastle, Bradford, Dartford, Cardiff, Truro, Milton Keynes, Belfast, Southampton, Dublin, Manchester, Hull, Southend, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Birmingham, York, Oxford, Bristol and Wimbledon.
