Double Tony Award winning musical Six is returning to Bristol in 2024

Six The Musical will appear at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 September 2024.
This international mega hit, which tells the story of Henry VIII’s wives in a unique and groundbreaking way, has wowed critics and theatre goers alike since its debut in 2017, winning Tony Awards for ‘Best Original Score’ and ‘Best Costume Design’ as well as two WhatsOnStage awards.

Returning for a UK tour in 2023 and 2024, Six uses its unique storytelling style to give audiences an insight into the history of Henry VIII’s six wives. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, these historic women take to the mic to tell their tales.
Armed with sing-along remixes of five hundred years of historic heartbreak, this now legendary piece of musical theatre is an 80-minute-long celebration of 21st century girl power told by some of British history’s most famous women. These Queens may have green sleeves, but their lipstick is a rebellious red.
Six The Musical is a sell-out Tudor take-off that The Australian described as “an incredibly strong and powerful message” and the New York Times labelled “pure entertainment”. This, along with a Gold-Disk winning score featuring hit songs including Don’t Lost Ur Head and Ex-Wives, looks to be the perfect recipe for an evening of top musical theatre!
