One of the most explosive and exciting live bands to emerge from the UK rock n roll scene in recent years, His Lordship emerged from the pandemic, shaking off the cobwebs to remind us what music’s been missing.

Made up of two sonic heavyweights, their debut single, ‘All Cramped Up’ hit the 6 Music B List and angular follow up, ‘Buzzkill’, was produced by David Wrench (Courtney Barnett, XX, Frank Ocean). The band sold out their debut UK tour in July and also supported Jason Isbell on a smash hit European tour.

His Lordship’s upcoming eponymous LP is a tour deforce of twelve frenetic tracks, one of which, ‘Jackie Works For The NHS’, is their latest single and a monster garage anthem, featuring a chorus that is sure to blow the roof off venues all over the country come November.

Speaking about the single, the band have said: “England 2023. Our beloved NHS is being dismantled piece by piece. Jackie lives on our block. Jackie works for the NHS. We love Jackie. God save the NHS.”

Totalling seven shows, His Lordship’s upcoming tour will drop by, in addition to Bristol, venues in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Brighton before finishing with a wild night in the capital. Find out more on the band’s website.
