Few musicals have reached the giddy heights pf Blood Brothers with the multi award winning musical opening way back in 1988 to widespread critical acclaim. To this day, it continues to draw standing ovations at every devastating performance.

In the USA, Blood Brothers has proved a particular triumph with a record-breaking run, a massively successful coast to coast tour and a stunning seven Tony Awards. The piece’s superb score features smash hit including ‘Bright New Day’, ‘Marilyn Monroe’ and the emotionally charged, ‘Tell Me It’s Not True’.

This wonderful London production, from Bill Kenwright of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat fame, has surpassed ten thousand performances at London’s West End - one of only three musicals to ever achieve the milestone.

The 2023 touring cast features X Factor’s Niki Colwell Evans as Mrs Johnstone, Danny Whitehead (Sweeney Todd, Jack and the Beanstalk) as the Narrator, Blood Brothers veteran Sean Jones as Mickey and Joe Sleight (Wicked, Peter Pan) as Eddie.

In addition to Bristol, Blood Brothers will run at venues in Llandudno, Chelmsford, Canterbury, Lichfield, Oxford, Ipswich, Guildford, Brighton and Bradford as part of the production’s 2023 UK tour.

Blood Brothers runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 29 August to Saturday 2 September 2023, tickets for the show can be purchased HERE.
