Posted on: 08 Aug 2023

Ahead of filming his Stand-Up special later in 2023, Kevin Bridges is performing a handful of extra shows of his critically acclaimed tour, ‘The Overdue Catch-Up’.

Kevin Bridges will appear at The Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 August 2023.

Having toured extensively with the show all through last year, ‘The Overdue Catch-Up’ gives audiences an insight into the minds of one of UK comedy’s sharpest minds, a funny man who has broken box office records with his tours and sold just shy of 1,000,000 tickets across the globe.

The Scotsman began his journey to comedy greatness back in 2004, shortly after his seventeenth Birthday. He quickly became a television regular, appearing on prestigious shows such as Would I Lie To You?, Live at the Apollo and The Jonathan Ross Show as well as fronting his own BBC series, Kevin Bridges: What’s The Story?.

In addition to various stand-up specials as well as his recurrent TV work, Bridges has had the honour of performing for former US president Barack Obama in 2017. He has also won a plethora of awards and his 2015 show, ‘A Whole Different Story’, saw a record 35 sell outs at Glasgow’s iconic Hydro – the most in the venue’s history.

Last year saw Bridges return to the live stage with ‘The Overdue Catch-Up’, a devastatingly sharp show that sees the 36-year-old use his 18 years of comedy experience to hit the nail on the head with his shrewd outlook on modern life.

In addition to Bristol, Kevin Bridges will perform multiple dates of ‘The Overdue Catch-Up’ at venues in Portsmouth and Stockton between now and September. More information about these shows can be found on the comedian’s website.
