‘Relight Your Fire’ with this sensational new production of Take That’s smash hit musical Greatest Days coming to The Bristol Hippodrome for one week in September.

 

Greatest Days runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 11 to Saturday 16 September 2023.

 

Featuring more than fifteen record breaking Take That hits and starring Jennifer Ellison, Greatest Days is a heart-warming and side-splitting love story from Tim Firth, the multi award winning creator of Calendar Girls. Greatest Days tells the tale of five pals who were boy band obsessed back in the 90s; when they reunite twenty years on to see their heartthrobs one last time, it just might turn out to be the ‘Greatest Day’ of their lives.

 

This spectacular Take That musical stars Jennifer Ellison who is best known for playing Emily Shadwick in popular Liverpool-based soap opera Brookside between 1998 and 2003. She has since become a musical theatre mainstay with acclaimed appearances in the likes of Chicago, Legally Blonde and Calendar Girls.

 

Originally titled The Band, this wonderful show broke box office records, delighting audiences all over the UK between 2017 and 2019. This brand new production marks the 30th anniversary of Take That’s first ever UK number one, ‘Pray’!

 

The tour also coincides with the release of the film version of the smash hit musical, starring Aisling Bea (Taskmaster, This Way Up), Alice Lowe (Prevenge, Sightseers, Hot Fuzz) and Bristol’s very own comedy legend, Jayde Adams.

 

As well as Bristol the Greatest Hits UK tour will drop by venues in Canterbury, Norwich, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Bradford, Southampton, Northampton, Brighton, Truro, Leicester, Hull, Aylesbury, Sunderland and Leeds between now and the end of the year. Find out more here.
