Kicking off the season on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 September is Worklight Theatre’s ‘Fanboy’. From award-winning writer-performer Joe Sellman-Leava, this is a love-hate letter to pop culture and nostalgia, an exploration of fandom and our relationship with our past and future selves that asks why Joe’s generation is so obsessed with its childhood.
Next is Bobak Champion's ‘I’m Muslamic Don’t Panik’ between Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 September. From Bristol to the Tehran marathon and back again, this is an intimate spectacle of identity, where being British, Iranian and a hip-hop fan collide with spoken word, dance, music and clowning around.
‘Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho’ will take to the stage from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 September. Fresh from four sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Iron Lady is back for this smash-hit drag spectacle. On the eve of the Section 28 vote, Maggie accidentally becomes a Soho cabaret superstar – will her homophobic views be changed before it’s too late?

Returning to Tobacco Factory after an immensely popular appearance in February last year, Story Jam’s ‘Women, Who Gave No F*cks’ is back on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September. With guest performers each night and no two performances the same, brace yourselves for no-holds-barred tales of inspiring super women who ripped up the rule book.
