Set times announced for Bristol Sounds 2023

Bristol Sounds returns to the city’s iconic harbourside this evening with five days of musical madness scheduled between today and Sunday.

 

Taking place at Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol Sounds will run from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 June 2023.

 

It’s time to get excited! Set times for ‘Grace Kelly’ megastar MIKA, viral sensation Jacob Collier, legendary rock band James (SOLD OUT), all-day festival ‘A Beautiful Day Out’ with Levellers and unapologetic pop sensation Self Esteem are now live – read on for more information.

Today’s show (Wednesday 21 June) sees vibrant pop star MIKA head to Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre. Gates open at 6.30 PM with Britain’s Got Talent favourite Calum Scott playing between 7.20 and 8.20 PM. Then, at 8.50 PM, it’ll be time to sing along to classics including ‘Grace Kelly’ and ‘Relax, Take It Easy’ with MIKA himself.

Tomorrow (Thursday 22) sees multi-instrumentalist and winner of five Grammys, Jacob Collier, bring his genre-defying live show to Bristol. Gates open at 6.30 PM with support act Louis Cole playing from 7.30 to 8.15 PM and the headline act taking to the stage from 8.45 PM.

Friday 23 sees a headline set from non-other than Mancunian rockers James. Gates for this one open at 6.30 PM with sets from The Kairds (7.15 to 7:45 PM) and Emily Breeze (8.15 to 8.45) before the main attraction, best known for hit single ‘Sit Down’, emerge at 9.15 PM.

 

Curfew is at 11.00 PM, unfortunately, this is a SOLD-OUT show.

 

 

Next up, on Saturday 24, is the all-day spectacular ‘A Beautiful Day Out’ with Gaz Brookfield (2.00-2.45 PM), Grandmas House (3.00-3.30), Goldie Lookin Chain (3.45-4.30), Peat & Diesel (5.00-5.45), Black Grape (6.15-7.00) and The Selector (7.40-8.40) before folk rock favourites Levellers take to the stage at 9.20 PM.

Finally, on Sunday 25 June, the previously Sheffield’s BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated indie pop sensation, Self Esteem will close this year’s proceedings. Gates open at 3.00 PM, a TBC act will play from 4.00 to 4.30 PM, Divorce between 5.00 and 5.45 PM, Lynks from 6.15 to 7 PM and Anna Calvi from 7.30 to 8.30 PM. Headliner Self Esteem will play at 9.10 PM.
