Bristol Sounds 2023 will be lighting up the harbourside throughout next week with thousands of Bristolians flocking to see their musical heroes in action.

 

Taking place at Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol Sounds will run from Wednesday 21 until Sunday 25 June 2023.

ARE ACCESSIBLE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE? 

 

Accessible tickets are sold out for the Bristol Sounds shows headlined by Mika, Jacob Collier, and James. However, accessibility entry is still bookable for the all-day ‘A Beautiful Day Out’ event featuring The Levellers (tickets available here) as well as the festival finale with Self Esteem (tickets available here).

 

These tickets (priced at £35) include entry to the event’s access platform, a separate area away from the main crowd that has its own accessible toilets. Anyone who purchases an access platform ticket is also entitled to one FREE personal assistant ticket.

WHAT TIME WILL EACH SHOW FINISH?

 

The finish times vary from show to show: Mika – 10.30 PM, Jacob Collier - 10.45 PM, James -11 PM, Levellers (‘A Beautiful Day Out’) – 11 PM, and Self Esteem – 10.30 PM.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST CAR PARKING LOCATED?

 

The nearest car park is the Millennium Square car park. A mere two-minute walk from Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre, this underground site is open 24 hours a day and is perfectly located right in the heart of Bristol.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A VIP TICKET?

 

VIP Tickets include a separate, quicker entrance as well as access to VIP Bar, a Souvenir Lanyard, 3 Drinks Tokens and access to a VIP Viewing Area. Please note the viewing area is standing not seated and any accessibility needs must be notified in advance.

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIR?

 

No, this is not allowed. Bristol Sounds shows are all standing concerts.

WHO ARE THE SUPPORT ACTS FOR EACH CONCERT?

 

Bristol Sounds 2023 not only features some of the biggest names in music, there is also an exciting roster of up-and-comers for festival-goers to get themselves acquainted with!

 

Mika (Wednesday 21 June) - the technicoloured alt-pop legend will be joined by Britain’s Got Talent sensation Calum Scott, fresh from performing with Take That at King Charles’ Coronation Concert.

 

Jacob Collier (Thursday 22 June) - multi-genre innovator Jacob Collier’s show will be opened by fellow multi-instrumentalist Louis Cole who has gained popularity recently for his unique jazz-funk fusion.

James (Friday 23 June) - joining legendary singalong rock group James is local favourite Emily Breeze. The singer-songwriter is sure to dazzle in the sun with her moody pop noir style.

 

A Beautiful Day Out (Saturday 24 June) - in addition to folk rock mainstays levellers, this special all-day event will see sets from ska outfit The Selector, Shaun Ryder’s Black Grape, Scottish three-piece Peat & Diesel, comedy hip-hop group Goldie Lookin Chain and local acoustic artist, Gaz Brookfield.

 

Self Esteem (Sunday 25 June) - Sheffield’s Rebecca Taylor is a pop superstar under her moniker: Self Esteem. Her unapologetic brand of introspective pop will be perfectly complimented by powerful singer-songwriter Anna Calvi, Bristol native “drag monster” Lynks and Nottingham rockers Divorce.

Set times for all five of the concerts will be announced closer to the time.
