Already an unforgettable festival experience with an incredible music lineup. FORWARDS Festival has announced its lineup of leading UK disruptors, artists, writers, and social innovators who will hold forward-thinking conversations this September.
A standout feature of FORWARDS festival is THE INFORMATION stage, where pressing cultural issues will be tackled head-on. The lineup of headline speakers for 2023 is nothing short of impressive. BBC broadcaster and BAFTA award winner David Olusoga will join forces with journalist and housing rights activist Vicky Spratt to discuss inequality in the media. British Vogue's contributing editor and LGBTIQA+ activist Munroe Bergdorf will engage in a conversation with author and founder of gal-dem, Liv Little, exploring the power of storytelling and the importance of sharing personal experiences.
Iconic British artist Jeremy Deller will team up with artist, raver, and provocateur Jonny Banger for a boundary-breaking talk that promises to be unpredictable. Digital creator Danny Price will lead a discussion with TikTok creators and comedians Grace Campbell and Josh Berry, examining the intersection of politics and humor.
In addition to the thought-provoking talks, FORWARDS Festival still features an incredible music lineup that includes Erykah Badu, Aphex Twin, Ezra Collective, Primal Scream, Arlo Parks, and more.
Building on its success in Bristol, THE INFORMATION stage will embark on a new venture in 2023, touring to the renowned Glastonbury. Stay tuned for the announcement of a bespoke program later this month.
