The new additions to the festival lineup include some exciting acts such as Ezra Collective, Gabriels, and Obongjayar, who will join the likes of Aphex Twin, Erykah Badu, Bonobo, Primal Scream, Arlo Parks, and RAYE, amongst others. It's a promising lineup that looks like it's bringing together an impressive mix of international and local artists across various music genres.

FORWARDS may be bringing some top notch music acts, but it's more than just a festival. It aims to challenge the status quo of metropolitan festivals by providing a space for discussion and debate on pressing cultural issues. Known as "THE INFORMATION," the festival will offer a programme of talks that don't shy away from controversial topics.

The festival organizers have also committed to social initiatives by offering discounted tickets for NHS workers, local residents, low-income individuals, and children aged 5-15. It's a nice gesture, both to say thanks to the NHS workers, and make sure they aren't leaving locals behind with their festival.

The festival's Friday night late show features Bristol's own Grove, Prima Queen, and Marla Kether, providing an after-dark vibe to the festival. The Saturday night late show will showcase the talents of Scalping, Saloon Dion, and Intoku, with a NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE featuring associated CIC Big Teams talent development projects.

Tickets for FORWARDS Festival are on sale now, with day tickets starting at £60.70 and weekend tickets available from £101.90. The event's gates will open at 12:00, with the last entry at 20:00.

FORWARDS Festival is a great opportunity for music lovers to enjoy an unforgettable weekend while engaging in meaningful conversations and promoting positive change. Don't miss out on Bristol's biggest rising-star festival - get your tickets HERE.
