There's not long now until the New Year and, with NYE events selling out throughout Bristol and beyond, those hoping to dance their way into 2023 would be advised to sort something out sharpish.

 

So, with this in mind, we've curated a list of New Year's Eve 2022/23 events around Bristol.

 

 

The list features everything from nights curated by Bristol dance music heroes to pop parties on a very famous boat, read on for the 365Bristol lowdown...

 

NYE – Eats Everything Presents: History of Rave | Motion

 

New Year's Eve at Motion will see Bristolian legend Eats Everything bring his History of Rave concept to town. At this party where no music or DJ is off limits and everyone is welcome punters can expect a selection of the UK's finest selectors who will embark on a journey through time, celebrating electronic music and rave culture from the past and present.

 

Tickets for this one are now on final release (£44.25) so grab yours here. The event runs from 9 PM until 5 AM with final entry at 12 AM.

NYE - The Blast X Motion | Motion

 

Another Motion club night here and, following the biggest year in THE BLAST's history in which welcomed the biggest names in the scene to Bristol for a stack of sold-out parties, New Year's Eve sees the hardworking team present a carefully curated lineup guaranteed to bring nothing but high-energy for the biggest night of the year.

New Year's Eve: Hunee, Dan Shake, special guest, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Willow | Lakota

 

Kicking off our list is a Bristol staple, for the final dance of 2022 Lakota will be transforming themselves for a very special night like no other. Spread across 3 rooms with fantastic decor, Bentleigh and Marti and co are celebrating the end of their 30th anniversary year with a host of exciting DJs including Hunee, Dan Shake, Gabrielle Kwarteng and Willow.

 

Tickets are now on fourth release and can be purchased for £20, here. The event runs from 9 PM until 5 PM.

Wide Eyes: NYE 2022 (DNB/140): Clipz, Napes, Zoro, KILLA P, HAMDI | Coroner's Court

 

Join Wide Eyes for one final dance of 2022 with our biggest DnB / Jungle / 140 show to date at Coroner's Court. Spread across two rooms, we've invited some of the best in Bristol's bass scene (including Clipz, Napes, Zoro and KILLA P) to see off the year in style.

NYE: Pop Con presents Viva Las Thekla | Thekla

 

Fancy a dose of the best pop music about to welcome in 2023? Look no further than Pop Con'a Viva Las Thekla. Bristol's favourite on-the-water venue will be transformed into the City of Sin with Las Vegas-themed decor, Just-for-fun casino games, prizes for the best costumes, a wedding chapel photobooth, Vegas-themed cocktails and pop music all night long.

Bitch Please! NYE at Love Inn | The Love Inn

 

The Love Inn community are coming together once again to celebrate the coming of the new year. The team are inviting party lovers to ring it in and shake it out boo, the love is real and Love Inn can’t WAIT to celebrate in all your queer revelry right before 2023! Josh Caffe, ZenZero B2B Ophanim, Suze Rosser and No Strings DJs will be leading the way.

 

Tickets are on final release and priced at £20 and the night will run from 9 PM until late into the night. Tickets can be found here.

The Ultimate Alternative NYE | O2 Academy Bristol

 

NYE at O2 Academy Bristol sees the debut edition of a brand-new monthly night. This event promises to be an all-encompassing rock club, bringing together the best of all alternative music genres from pop-punk to indie, party to metal. Alt-Nite will take place on the third Friday of each month in 2023.

Crofters NYE 2022 | The Crofters Rights

 

Crofters are bringing five delectable acts to the New Year’s stage for the 2022-2023 transition, running the gamut from DnB, to dancehall, to garage and more. The night will see appearances from Exodus Records, Omen Audio, Psyched, RepresentAsian & Twin Systems Records.

 

Opening their doors at 7 PM, tickets for this NYE club night are priced at £9. Buy tickets here.

 

Obsidian NYE | Trinity Centre

 

Booty Bass join forces with Shade Cartel to celebrate the end of the year in the best way possible, providing a space dominated by diverse divas. Booty Bass are a collective of female/non-binary DJs, playing bass music that runs through your body, down to your booty, making it pump from the minute you walk in while Shade Cartel are inclusive dance and performance collective of colour, consisting of drag artists, aerial/pole artists, and professional dancers.

 

This event is sold out but keep an eye out for resale tickets.

Propaganda Bristol | The Fleece

 

Propaganda is the UK's biggest indie club night and a staple of Bristol's ever-popular live music venue, The Fleece. As is traditional these days, Propaganda will present an NYE party aimed at the indie within us all, except the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Avril Lavigne, The Killers, Paramore, Tame Impala and Sam Fender to feature heavily.

Motorcity Gold - New Year's Eve with Soul | The Lanes

 

Bristol's best Friday night is throwing the New Year's Eve Party of the Year! Get ready for non-stop fun, friends, drinking, dancing and great music all the way into 2023. Soul fans can expect to hear tracks from Stevie Wonder, ABBA, James Brown, Diana Ross, Jackie Wilson, The Kinks, Marvin Gaye, Little Richard, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard and Nancy Sinatra.

PTS X AM NYE | Exchange

 

Psychotherapy Sessions regularly bring the best talent in Bristol's underground electronic community to venues all around Bristol and NYE 2022 is no different. Taking over Exchange, punters can expect spellbinding sets from the likes of ALYA L, Robin Stewart and Fever 103° in room 1 and a Mickey Zogg's takeover in room 2.
