Star of the UK’s most streamed Netflix comedy special of 2021, Jimmy Carr, describes his new show as containing 'jokes about all kinds of terrible things'.

Jimmy Carr will perform his 'Terribly Funny 2.0' show at Bristol Hippodrome on Friday 7 July 2023.

The popular comic has made a habit of performing in Bristol in recent years with his previous show, 'Terribly Funny', showing at Bristol Hippodrome in October 2021 and January 2022. His new tour will take him all over the UK and Ireland as well as Australia, Canada and Europe.

Known for his dark humour, quick-witted interactions with hecklers and, of course, that distinctive laugh, Jimmy Carr is undoubtedly one of the most successful British comedians of the 21st century.

Through a consistent run of well-received live shows as well as his work hosting and appearing on some of the nation's favourite TV shows, Carr has cemented himself among the greats of UK comedy in recent years.

From hosting hit shows 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year to regular guest slots on A League of Their Own and Have I Got News for You, the London-born standup is never far from the spotlight.

Rescheduled from the original 2020 dates due to the coronavirus pandemic, both Jimmy Carr Terribly Funny tour of 2021 and 2022 and the upcoming 'Terribly Funny 2.0' tour contain "jokes about all kinds of terrible things", throwing caution to the wind and undoubtedly set to offend virtually everyone in attendance.

As well as Bristol, the UK and Ireland leg of the 'Terribly Funny 2.0' tour will drop by venues in Huddersfield, Oxford, Swansea, Birmingham, London, Northampton, Bradford, Derby, Blackpool, Manchester, Liverpool, Bath, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, York, Hull and Leicester to name but a few. Head to Jimmy Carr's website for more information.
