Having recently concluded his smash hit headline ‘3AM’ tour, the well-known boyband man and TV regular is preparing to take to the road once again next year with ‘AM’.

 

Aston Merrygold will play O2 Academy Bristol on Saturday 6 May 2023.

 

Known for his top quality, celebratory live shows, Merrygold yesterday announced that he would be embarking on a massive tour, playing 12 venues across UK and Ireland throughout April and May

Aston Merrygold is best known as one-fourth of much-loved pop phenomenon JLS who achieved a staggering five UK #1 singles, another five Top 10 hits, a number 1 album, and a further five Top 5 studio records throughout their career and JLS’s 2021 ‘Beat Again’ reunion saw them perform to over 350,000 people.

 

Away from boyband life, the now 34-year-old has also appeared as a singer, dancer, judge and actor on shows such as ‘The Masked Singer’, ‘Strictly’, ‘Got to Dance’, ‘The Big Deal’ and ‘Almost Never’.

 

The singer’s live shows are pure celebratory experiences. An arena-level musician through and through, Merrygold brings real star quality to relatively intimate venues with his sensational vocal ability, dazzling dance moves and charming stage presence making him a born entertainer.

With a tracklist that more than matches the performance, fans will hear everything from breakthrough solo hit ‘Get Stupid’ to recent single ‘BedRock’, from Aston’s crowd-pleasing covers, to (if you’re lucky) the occasional JLS smash.

 

In addition to releasing ‘BedRock’, Aston has been typically busy in 2022, his last headline tour was a roaring success that culminated at London’s O2 Academy Islington, and he has also featured in ITV’s hip-hop comedy panel show ‘Don't Hate the Playaz’. 

 

Merrygold is also looking to discover the next wave of talent with his BASE Performing Arts College (launching next year), a natural next step for his already established BASE Dance Studios.
