Posted on: 26 Oct 2022

Dance music big hitters Chase & Status, US hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan and recent Mercury Award winner Little Simz will be headlining a massive lineup at Bath and West Showground.

NASS Festival 2023 will run from Thursday 6 and Sunday 9 July.

Every year, the four-day festival brings together international skate and BMX competitions, street art curated by Upfest and hundreds of world-class music artists to Shepton Mallet and 2023 is shaping up to be no different. Tickets for the festival go on sale at 10 AM this Friday, 28 October, with pre-sale available tomorrow, Thursday 27.

Pioneering D'n'B duo Chase & Status will be making the journey to NASS festival in July, headlining the main stage for what’s set to be an electronic music masterclass. The duo have been at the cutting edge of dance music for over 20 years, remaining a force to be reckoned with record-after-record remaining timeless classics.

NASS’ Saturday headline act is widely considered by many to be the greatest name in hip-hop history. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1993 album Enter The Wu (36 Chambers), which features hits such as 'Protect Ya Neck' and 'C.R.E.A.M.'. Wu will be crossing the Atlantic and heading to the South West next summer. These rap megastars will be one of NASS’ biggest headliners ever, and an act not to be missed next summer.

Sunday sees Little Simz (pictured below) bring NASS to an epic close. Recently honoured with the prestigious Mercury Prize for her fourth studio album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, Little Simz has been tipped by the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Stormzy over the years. Truly multi-talented, the rapper has burst through our screens as well as our speakers, with a recurring role in Top Boy.

There’s something big in the works from a maverick of D'n'B and producer who needs no introduction. NASS festival will be treated to a special showing of SHY FX: SPECIALS - this mysterious, truly unique show will be complete with surprise guests.

Two huge names in D'n'B collide with AC13 B2B Disrupta sure to deliver an electrifying set. Also joining the bill will be the first permanent female host of Radio 1’s Drum & Bass Show Charlie Tee, 0207 Def Jam’s South London songstress and Is This Real Love? hitmaker Debbie, as well as indie group Easy Life who are currently riding high after the release of their latest album ‘MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE’, earlier this month.

Quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in rap, Finn Foxell is heading to NASS this summer and it’s set to be a lively one. The West London rapper, who has just released his new single What’s Your Poison, will be bringing a hazy blend of hip-hop, and electronic vibes to NASS in July. Don’t miss Flava D B2B S.P.Y as two of the biggest names in D’n’B join forces, taking NASS by storm to headline the Southbank warehouse - expect jungle, bassline and garage from these two powerhouses. They join D'n'B supergroup Problem Central (pictured below) who’ll headline Southbank on Friday night.

Bristol’s very own Gardna will also be present. The South-West lyricist and MC burst onto the scene in 2019 and has been firmly making his mark ever since, his ‘Time & Space’ album is a glimpse into the high-energy set he’ll be bringing to NASS festival next year.

Also joining the bill is Joe Unknown who is drawing a fervent cult following for his Sleaford Mods, The Streets and Slowthai-inspired sound. R&B sensation and homegrown talent, singer Pip Millett will also be bringing her soulful sound to NASS festival, along with Balling hitmaker Vibe Chemistry.

Plus, in July NASS will welcome the biggest names in skate and BMX, who’ll compete in international competitions taking place across the festival. What’s more, the most talented UK street artists will be creating and displaying their work throughout the NASS festival site for fans to enjoy.

Tickets for the festival go on sale at 10 AM this Friday, 28 October, with pre-sale available tomorrow, Thursday 27. Sign up for pre-sale here before midnight tonight.
