Posted on: 11 Oct 2022

Luxmuralis: Space Voyager Light Show is an immersive visual show that will take you on a journey of light and sound to the very edge of the universe and back again.

The Luxmuralis team will take over Bristol Cathedral from Tuesday 1 until Saturday 5 November.

The collaborative team features a collaboration of artists from a range of different backgrounds and artistic disciplines who create pieces using a range of formats with a variety of different clients.

Tickets for the spectacle can be found here.

Luxmuralis works with everyone from Councils to Corporate alongside developing and generating ad hoc and individual works of art.

The core of the organisation is exploring the development of fine art tradition through new media and taking this new media onto the streets, thus providing public access to visual artwork in unexpected places.

Appearing in Bristol for the very first time, the critically acclaimed immersive visual experience will transform Bristol Cathedral with a spellbinding cosmic light show and a bespoke soundtrack that will take you on a journey through all the mysteries of outer space.

A visit to Luxmuralis: Space Voyager Light Show will last between 45 and 60 minutes as the public experience the beautiful interior of the Cathedral like never before, immersing themselves in the expanse of the universe.

The experience will be accompanied by loud music and a fast moving light display throughout, although it may not be suitable for those who suffer from conditions such as migraines, epilepsy, or sensory processing disorders.

Running at Bristol Cathedral from Tuesday 1 until Saturday 5 November, the Luxmuralis installation will take place between 17:30 and 23:00 on each of the five days.

Ticket prices are £9.50 for adults, £8 for concessions, £6 for children and free for 0-3 year olds. Purchase yours here.
