Propyard to host Oktoberfest inspired event this October

Posted on: 01 Sep 2022

The organisers of Hopfest return in style as they host their second event, ‘Hoptoberfest’, this autumn.

One of Bristol’s newest and largest venues, Propyard, is bringing a taste of Germany’s most famous beer festival, Oktoberfest, to the west country on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October 2022.

An array of craft beer makers from Bristol and beyond will be on hand pouring steins all weekend long, with a mouth-watering selection of food and great music also on offer.

More information and tickets for this event can be found via Propyard's website.

Propyard - a former missile silo turned event space - will host ‘Hoptoberfest’ - the sophomore weekender from the organisers of ‘Hopfest’, which was met with acclaim earlier this year.

Following the success of their inaugural knees-up, organisers have put an Oktoberfest spin on their upcoming second event, serving steins of craft beers from Bristol and beyond with a side of Bratwurst.

Promising plenty of ‘oompgh-pah-pah’, the team behind ‘Hoptoberfest’ have booked Huey Morgan to headline an exciting musical line-up on Friday night that includes Bristolian artist Angel Mel and seven-piece traditional brass band King Brasstards.

Madame Electrifie will perform on Saturday, fusing vintage beats with the best of the modern age to create a raucous dance floor focused party, along with more Oom-Pah classics from King Brasstards.

There is also a special headline performance from a yet-to-be-announced guest.

An array of Bristol’s best breweries will also be in attendance alongside makers from further afield, giving punters the opportunity to taste a wide range of great beer.

Furthermore, a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks will be available. There is something for everyone at ‘Hoptoberfest’.

Some of Bristol’s finest food vendors will also be on hand, namely: Palestinian inspired kitchen Jafra, and pizza connoisseurs, Pizzarova. There will also be German Bratwursts and pretzels available to complete this Bavarian-style party.

Early-bird tickets are now available to purchase for Hoptoberfest from Propyard's website for just £35 plus booking fee. More information about this event can be found via the same link.
