Posted on: 24 Aug 2022

Close out this summer holiday with the whole family in BS2.

One of Bristol biggest entertainment spaces, Propyard, is bringing back its popular ‘Kids and Family Day’ – piloted over the recent Jubilee Weekend - this bank holiday.

On Saturday 27 August from 12:00 until 18:00, the former aeroplane hangar turned venue will host an exciting programme of activities suitable for the entire family as part of its Summer Social series.

This event is FREE but there are limited tickets available. Grab yours here.

Returning this August bank holiday weekend following a successful pilot event over the Jubilee Weekend earlier in 2022, Propyard will host its ‘Kids and Family Day’.

Organisers have built on their previous programme, offering more fun for the whole family with activities such as a dance workshops, crafts and a bouncy castle.

Bristol Drag Collective will also be in attendance, running workshops and story time – where youngsters can learn about inclusivity through the art of drag and storytelling.

Alongside this, attendees will be able to strut their stuff at catwalk shows showcasing their summer-festival best and head to the ‘Best Dressed Doggy’ show for an event that is not to be missed.

The event bills itself as the ‘ultimate celebration to mark the end of the summer holidays’, suitable for parents, kids and even furry friends.

Kids and Family Day is part of Propyard’s Summer Social series, which still has some events left to run this summer. Find out more here.

More information about this weekend can be found here. This event is FREE but tickets must be booked in advance.
