PVA announce debut album and Bristol gig at Strange Brew

Posted on: 26 Jul 2022

The London trio's infectious and danceable music has earned them critical praise and a devoted band of acolytes.

This September, Thursday 20, PVA, one of the most exciting bands operating out of the Capital currently head to Strange Brew on their first headline UK/EU tour.

The announcement comes alongside news of their upcoming debut album, 'BLUSH' - out Friday 14 October 2022 - and the release of their latest single, 'Hero Man'.

Tickets are not yet on sale but will be soon. Avoid disappointment and visit PVA's website for more details and updates.

Formed in 2017, PVA spent time making a name for themselves on the gig circuit before releasing their first single, 'Divine Intervention', via Speedy Wunderground in 2019.

A year later, now signed to seminal label Ninja Tune, the trio released their debut EP, 'Toner', to acclaim - a Mura Masa remix of 'Talks' picking up a GRAMMY nomination.

Bridging the gap between guitar and electronic music, PVA spent their early days performing alongside the likes of Shame, Dry Cleaning and Goat Girl.

Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength, and the UK/EU tour that sees them arrive in Bristol this autumn will be their first headline string of shows.

In October, PVA will also release their debut LP, 'BLUSH' - an 11-track album formulated from 'acid, disco, blistering synths, the release of the dancefloor and queer-coded sprechgesang post-punk'.

Once again, tickets are not yet on sale but will be soon. Be sure to keep an eye on PVA's website for more information.
