Hunee, Saoirse, Young Marco + more confirmed for Motion's YARD: Open Air Club

One of the venue's biggest annual parties returns with another bumper lineup.

 

Motion have revealed a full lineup for the latest edition of their YARD: Open Air Club series, inviting an array of revered DJs to play across two stages on Saturday 23 July.

 

After the success of their most recent YARD party in April, the Avon Street venue will be hosting genre-spanning maestro Hunee, Canadian selector Darwin, Barcelona's John Talabot going back-to-back with Safe Trip boss Young Marco, evergreen party starter Saoirse and a handful of highly-regarded Bristol alumni.

An intriguing summer YARD lineup is topped by none other than world-renowned DJ and producer Hunee, celebrated for his deft selections and far-reaching musical influences.

 

You're as likely to hear a leftfield West African groove as you are a Chicago house record or disco classic when Hunee's at the helm, and regardless of what he's spinning, his palpable passion and enthusiasm are ever-present in his sets.

 

The Dar Disku collective, hard-hitting DJ Darwin and Motion resident Ellis Roberts join Hunee on the expansive Container Yard stage.

 

Elsewhere, The Crane Yard will be headlined with a b2b set from Young Marco and John Talabot.

 

The pair's wildly different approaches to DJing - the former favours eclectic selections and dips a broad range of sounds and styles while the latter is renowned for his slow-moving house tendencies - are bound to throw up more than a few curveballs when they come together in July.

 

Beloved party starter Saoirse and fast-rising, Bristol-raised DJ Manami complete the Crane Yard lineup. Expect everything from house and techno to dub, jazz, electro, garage and much more from two artists at the peak of their respective powers.
