Tokyo World is returning to Bristol's Eastville Park this weekend

Posted on: 17 Sep 2021

Tickets are running seriously low for the renowned two-day festival's return to BS5.

Much loved music festival Tokyo World is making its comeback this weekend, returning to its spiritual home in Eastville Park for two days of unmissable live music, DJ sets and more.

Having been forced to postpone in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Tokyo World team announced back in February that they'd be going ahead with their 2021 edition, promising a "very special reunion" for fans.

Last remaining tickets - for the Sunday programme as well as afterparties at Motion - are available here.

Renowned for its vibrant lineups and spectacular stage design, Tokyo World is rightly regarded as one of Bristol's leading annual music festivals.

Its 2021 edition boasts one of its most ambitious musical offerings to date, spanning hip-hop, drill, garage, R&B and a full spectrum of electronic styles.

The lineup is stacked with some of the world's most in-demand artists, from influential Nigerian rapper Burna Boy to Basement Jaxx, Annie Mac, David Rodigan and many more.

As always, Bristol will be well represented at Tokyo World 2021, with local acts DJ Die and Gardna among those confirmed.

Two full days of live music and DJ sets on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 September will be followed by huge afterparties at Motion, featuring the likes of Sub Focus, Sigma and the Bristol-based Alfresco Disco collective.
