Worm Soundsystem will be taking over the Stokes Croft venue on the last Saturday of every month.

Bristol-based party-starters and label owners Worm Disco Club have revealed details of an all-new monthly club night at The Crofters Rights, bringing a diverse selection of artists and records to the Stokes Croft venue for their first events in almost 18 months.

Kicking off on Saturday 31 July, the first Worm Soundsystem party will be headlined by celebrated Brazilian-born, London-based DJ and promoter Tiago Tigas making his Bristol debut.

Tickets for this month's opener are on sale now via Headfirst, with a limited number to be made available on the door.

Announcing the series on Instagram, Worm Disco Club said: "We are first and foremost DJs, having started Worm Disco Club back in 2014 as a place for us to play records.

"We now spend a lot of time creating a platform to other artists through promoting gigs, our SWU.FM show and our label, but above all, what we really love to do most of all is play tunes and make people dance!"

A firm fixture on Bristol's events calendar, Worm Disco Club have emerged as one of the city's best-loved promoters in recent years, hosting a diverse range of live and club events.

The three-man team have carved out a reputation as proud champions of Bristol music, celebrating local artists spanning an array of genres and styles with their record label, Worm Discs.

Following their Worm Soundsystem launch party on Friday 31 July, WDC will be taking over The Crofters Rights on the last Saturday of each month for the foreseeable future.
