Join the in-demand jazz outfit as they celebrate the release of their sophomore album.

Bristol jazz frontrunners Snazzback have announced a full tour schedule to accompany the release of their eagerly-anticipated second album, kicking off with a performance at BS1 venue Strange Brew on Wednesday 21 July.

Having earned a stellar reputation across Bristol and beyond in recent years with live shows at some of the city's favourite small venues, the collective's latest project, In The Place, is set to land two days later on Friday 23.

Tickets for their opening show are on sale now, but are expected to sell out well in advance - find out more and get yours via Headfirst.

Describing themselves as "new wave dancefloor instrumentalists", Snazzback are rightly regarded as a real force in British jazz, receiving widespread praise across the music press and the airwaves.

Between performances at major festivals nationwide - including Glastonbury, Shambala and Boomtown among others - the group held down a popular weekly residency at Gloucester Road bar The Gallimaufry before the pandemic hit.

Snazzback's latest record In The Place represents a tangible step forward both for the group and the evergreen Bristol jazz scene, releasing on Worm Disco Club's celebrated label, Worm Discs.

Following on from their opening show at Bristol's Strange Brew, the band will be going on to perform live in Falmouth, Plymouth, Stroud, York, Manchester and Leeds before closing at The Jago in London.

Ahead of Snazzback's headline show, expect trademark hidden gems from Worm Disco Club resident DJs in the opening support slot, alongside the collective's very own Pharaoh de Pandeiro, set to bring with him a wide-ranging selection of Latin, Brazilian and leftfield groovers.

Tickets for Snazzback live at Strange Brew on Wednesday 21 July are on sale now and can be found here. To pre-order or pre-save In The Place on all platforms, or browse previous releases from the band, head to the band's Bandcamp page.
