Meet the Bristol Brewers: Lost and Grounded

Bristol is home to a growing crop of dedicated, creative and fiercely independent breweries in 2021, each offering their own selections of tried-and-tested classics and innovative new flavour combinations.

 

From the city's extensive selection of craft pubs, taprooms and pop-ups to the huge buzz around the annual Craft Beer Festival, it's no secret that Bristol loves its beer, making it the perfect home to breweries of all shapes and sizes.

 

In the third edition of our Meet the Bristol Brewers series, we get to know Lost and Grounded, a renowned BS4 brewery built on a love of age-old techniques and a dedication to squeezing every last bit of quality from their ingredients.

Established back in 2016, Lost and Grounded has emerged as one of Bristol's best-loved breweries, known for their passion for the precision and idiosyncrasies of German and Belgian beer.

 

All of their beers - from the popular Running With Sceptres Indian Pale Lager to the Sunset Conversation tropical sour - are unfiltered and 100% vegan.

 

Lost and Grounded's state-of-the-art brewhouse is a real mecca for craft beer lovers in Bristol, using tried and tested traditional methods to produce smooth, rounded and delicate varieties. 

 

The team proudly supply many of Bristol's top pubs and bars, and represent one of few UK breweries certified as a UK Living Wage employer.

Lost and Grounded.

Lost and Grounded's current range is slightly smaller than some of its contemporaries, but there's still plenty to choose from if you're after quality, locally-brewed craft beer.

 

Alongside lagers, IPAs and German and Belgian-inspired beers, you'll find an American-style amber and brown ales, dry-hopped pale ale and more as part of a short-but-sweet selection. 

 

You can pick up single varieties in cases of six or twelve, or treat yourself to a mixed-variety case and get the full scope of what Lost and Grounded have to offer.

 

 

During lockdown, Lost and Grounded are offering FREE same-day delivery for Bristol postcodes (provided orders are completed before 13:00), and free next-day deliveries on orders of over £50 across the rest of the UK.

 

NHS staff with a valid ID can also make use of an exclusive 20% discount, set up by the brewery last year in response to the pandemic.
