The Plough reopen for takeaway and delivery

Posted on: 14 Dec 2020

Treat yourself to a meal and a drink or two in support of a brilliant Bristol pub.

Much-loved Easton pub The Plough have officially reopened for takeaway and delivery, offering up their tasty new menu while Bristol remains under Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions.

Running from 17:00 every evening except Sundays, The Plough's new food service includes a wide range of meaty and vegetarian/vegan tacos, burritos, boxes and sides, as well as an extensive selection of beers, wines and soft drinks.

Orders for collection can be made through The Plough's website, with delivery available via Uber Eats.

One of Bristol's favourite pubs and a firm favourite with the local community in Easton, The Plough is known for its live music events and welcoming atmosphere.

In normal times it's a regular host of some of the city's top promoters and DJs, but the team have had to adapt in 2020.

The Plough reopened back in August with additional seating in its outdoor beer garden and custom-built social distancing booths inside the pub, with their brand-new food menu first launching for sit-in dining in September.

During both UK lockdowns and throughout the year, The Plough have been spearheading the Community Care Package programme, providing fresh fruit and veg boxes to vulnerable people.

Find out more about Community Care Package here and consider making a donation to support the project through a busy winter period.

The Plough's new takeaway and delivery service will be operating from 17:00 every evening (expect Sundays) throughout the buildup to Christmas.

After what's been an incredibly tough year for pubs and hospitality businesses across Bristol, it's vital we all do our bit to show some love and support for our favourite independents.
