Bianchis to host socially-distanced Christmas market this month

Sample hot food and drinks and browse great gift ideas at the restaurant's pop-up markets.

Popular Montpelier restaurant Bianchis will be hosting a series of socially-distanced Christmas markets during the buildup to Christmas this month, offering up a range of culinary treats and gift ideas for people in the area.

Running from 12:00-17:00 on Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December, the pop-up indoor and outdoor market is a great opportunity to support a much-loved Bristol independent and grab some last-minute presents ahead of the big day.

Located on York Street inside what used to be the famous Bell's Diner, Bianchis is a renowned Italian restaurant operated by the team behind Pasta Loco and Pasta Ripiena.

The kitchen's ethos of quality, honest cooking uses only the best locally and internationally-sourced ingredients to produce a wide range of delicious dishes.

Forced to remain closed for the coming weeks as Bristol remains under Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions, the Bianchis team have had to adapt once again this month, putting together an eagerly-awaited Christmas market in place of their regular service.

As well as dishes and drinks prepared by the kitchen and bar staff, you'll be able to get your hands on freshly-made sweet treats, gift bags provided by city centre wine specialists La Sorella and the perfect wine boxes and bottles to surprise your loved ones with this Christmas.

The markets will be fully socially-distanced indoors and out, with temporary safety measures put in place by Bianchis to minimise risk to staff and visitors.
