First wave of acts revealed for inaugural Bath Reggae Festival

Get an authentic taste of Caribbean culture in Bath next year.

 

Initial details have been revealed for the first-ever Bath Reggae Festival, with some of the UK's most renowned reggae, soul and R&B artists set to perform live as part of an all-day event on Saturday 5 June 2021.

 

Taking place at Kensington Meadows in central Bath, the family-friendly festival is being billed as a unique celebration of Caribbean culture, bringing together live music, authentic cuisine and an unbeatable summer atmosphere.

Attendees can expect the very best in live reggae - old and new - from a varied selection of acts, including Grammy-nominated and internationally-renowned vocalist Maxi Priest, the Aswad duo and American ten-piece Big Mountain.

 

The festival will also showcase an impressive lineup of local and emerging talent, with Bristol's own Laid Blak, vocalist Hollie Cook and genre-spanning singer-songwriter Aleighcia Cook set to perform.

 

Alongside the musical programme, there will also be plenty of culinary delights to try on the day, from rum bars and cocktail stands to authentic Caribbean food stalls.

 

A range of ticket options are available, with Group Tickets, Family Passes and a selection of Childrens' and Infants' tickets on sale now.
