The Volunteer Tavern launch pop-up roast dinner delivery service

Posted on: 18 Jun 2020

Get a pub-quality Sunday Roast delivered direct to your door this weekend from The Volunteer Tavern.

The kitchen team at The Volunteer Tavern have officially launched their pop-up roast dinner service, taking weekly orders for deliveries across Bristol every Sunday.

With roast chicken or butternut squash nut roast on the menu, the Volunteer's Sunday Roast Kits come with all the freshly-prepared trimmings. Kits are delivered with cooking and prep instructions, ready to eat after just 30 minutes in the oven.

With Father's Day just around the corner, we heartily recommend you ditch the home cooking this year and treat your old man to a proper pub roast.

Whether or not you can recreate the atmosphere at his local remains to be seen, but with a roast from The Volunteer you can, at the very least, skip the shopping, queuing, peeling and chopping you'd have to do if you were cooking from scratch.

Delivery slots are available between 10:00 and 14:00 every Sunday, with a few later slots available on request. Orders can be placed until 09:00 on Sunday for delivery the same weekend.

In order to keep food as fresh as possible, the delivery area is slightly limited. Areas of Bristol currently covered on The Volunteer's delivery route include Totterdown, St. Annes and St. Phillips, Old Market and St. Judes, St. Pauls and St. Agnes, Redfield, Whitehall, Easton, St Werburghs and Redcliffe.

To find out more about The Volunteer's roast dinner deliveries, or to put an order in ahead of this weekend, contact the team on 0117 955 8498, get in touch via email or send them a message on Facebook.
