Known for timeless disco hits ‘Le Freak’ and ‘Good Times’, it’s no wonder why Nile Rodgers and CHIC’s first gig sold out so quickly.

The Nile Rodgers and CHIC gigs form part of the Colston Hall Presents programme, which sees Colston Hall host gigs across the city, while it undergoes a multi-million-pound transformation.

Following Nile Rodgers and CHIC, the Lloyds Amphitheatre will welcome Glasgow indie band Belle and Sebastian for a one-off gig, thanks to Colston Hall.

Joining Belle and Sebastian will be London’s indie electronic quartet Django Django, who were nominated for a Mercury Prize for their 2012 self-titled debut album.

An outdoor gig space of with a whopping 5000-capacity, the Lloyds Amphitheatre has welcomed a whole host of exciting summer gigs in recent years.

Since 2015, Colston Hall has brought the likes of Goldie, Jimmy Cliff and New Order Flash to the Amphitheatre.
