Bear Grylls will be in Bristol tonight – and a few tickets are still remaining

Posted on: 22 Apr 2024

Bear Grylls will be appearing at Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall tonight, Monday 22 April, to tell the inspiring tale of how Bear Grylls will never give up.

Known the world over as an adventurer, award-winning television personality and number one bestselling author, Grylls is an inspiring figure who pushes himself to the limits both mentally and physically and this show will take audiences on a journey behind the scenes of his incredible life and career.

Bear Grylls OBE has always pushed life to its limits, from his time in 21 SAS to becoming one of the youngest ever climbers to scale Mount Everest, it is as much about facing adversity and failure as it is about relentlessly following your dreams – even when the world wants to try to break you.

Trained in martial arts from an early age, Grylls spent three years as a soldier in the British Special Forces where he perfected the survival skills that he shares with the world today on various acclaimed television series, most notably the Emmy Award-nominated Man vs. Wild series, one of the most watched shows on the entire planet, reaching viewing numbers of over 1 billion.

This latest show, Never Give Up, will feature never-before-seen, hair-raising images and extraordinary behind-the-scenes videos, sewn together to tell the inspiring tale of a man who embodies the 'Never Give Up' spirit. From remarkable recovery after a near-fatal parachuting incident, to the intense physical challenges he’s faced, this will be a special talk.

Never Give Up is taking place tonight, at Bristol Beacon, from 19:30. You may have thought tickets would be sold out by now – but well done for not giving up! There are in fact a few tickets remaining if you have the guts to take them. Just think: what would Bear do?
