Three massive artists have been revealed for the inaugural Ashton Gate Presents BS3 show

This summer, BS3’s Ashton Gate stadium will be transformed into a spellbinding two-stage festival with the first wave of acts being announced this morning.

 

 Ashton Gate Presents BS3 will take place at Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday 22 June 2024.

 

With seven more amazing artists still to be added, the South Bristol festival’s debut will feature unforgettable sets from R&B legend NE-YO, beloved UK megastar Craig David and DJ Spoony’s sensational ‘Garage Classical’ show. Pre-registration tickets go on sale at 11 AM on Thursday 11 January, before the general sale opens on Friday 12 January.

NE-YO is a legendary hit-maker who has won three Grammy awards and hit multi-platinum throughout his illustrious career. June’s appearance in South Bristol will see him draw on his astonishing collection of global hits, including ‘So Sick’, ‘Sexy Love’, ‘Closer’, ‘Because of You’ and ‘Miss Independent’.

 

In addition to his slew of solo hits, NE-YO has collaborated with some of the top artists from around the world, writing ‘Unfaithful’, ‘Russian Roulette’ and ‘Take A Bow’ for Rihanna as well as songs for Beyonce, Usher, and Jennifer Hudson.

 

He will be joined by Craig David, the critically acclaimed artist who achieved worldwide attention with his single ‘Fill Me In’ and topped at just 19 with his 2000 debut album, Born To Do It.

 

Throughout a stellar career, he has achieved 20 UK Top 40 singles, seven Top 40 albums and over 15 million records – in addition to 14 BRIT Award and two Grammy nominations. David will perform his Tower Suite 5 show, a must-see live event that began as an exclusive pre-party in his penthouse home.

 

The final act announced so far is one of the original godfathers of UK Garage, DJ Spoony. He will be teaming up with acclaimed composer Katie Chatburn and the celebrated Ignition Orchestra to create ‘Garage Classical’, a show which has wowed audiences up and down the country and even sold out the Royal Albert Hall.
