If you’re a local resident harbouring a talent, there’s not long left to give yourself a chance to spread your wings at this iconic Bristolian summer staple.

 

Bristol Harbour Festival returns from Friday 19 until Sunday 21 July 2024.

 

Running for three days of maritime magic, this year’s festival will put local talent at the forefront of the celebrations at both well-known and new for 2024 feature areas in the unique surroundings of Bristol’s historic harbourside. So, whether you’re a singer, performer, organisation, charity or whatever, follow the link below to express your interest…

One of Bristol’s largest free-to-attend festivals, Harbour Fest attracts around 250,000 people each year, representing a vibrant showcase of the city’s rich maritime and cultural heritage. Delivered by Bristol City Council, this year will see Bristol City Centre BID and Redcliffe & Temple BID lend their expertise as stakeholders.

 

Other local organisations taking part in the event are Bristol Old Vic, Watershed, Bristol Pride, ACH Refugee Integration Services Provider and Bristol Community Ferry Boats Ltd, representing the diverse community of Bristol.

 

The festival’s wide-spread stages are synonymous with Bristol Harbour Fest, showcasing stellar acts spanning genres of music, circus, theatre, on-the-water spectacles and more. New additions and areas will be appearing this year, with more information yet to be revealed.

 

Speaking about Bristol Harbour Festival 2024, Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees has said: “Bristol’s Harbour Festival is a key date in our city’s calendar and an essential platform for aspiring local artists and talent to perform in front of huge audiences.

 

“We are proud that we have continued to keep the city’s largest festival, which is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Bristol’s diverse creativity and talent, as a free event for all. We can look forward to celebrating together and bringing another brilliant free festival to Bristol this summer.”

Previous editions of Bristol’s waterside celebration have seen over 80% of artists and entertainment on offer coming through the Expression of Interest form, making it a truly homegrown event!
