It’s time to start thinking New Year’s Resolutions, right? With this in mind, Old Market Assembly have cooked up a special Veganuary event, entitled Vegan & Vine.

Vegan & Vine at The Old Market Assembly takes place on Tuesday 23 January 2024.

Created for Veganuary as well as something to look forward to in the midst of winter, the popular venue has put together a wonderful vegan tasting menu, showcasing some of the best dishes made with produce from some of Old Market Assembly’s favourite suppliers.

To book, simply select 8 PM on Tuesday 23 January on the venue’s website.

Moi, Old Market Assembly’s head chef, will present the menu and his dishes, all created with Spanish influence, alongside the Head of Food Dace Hazell – an ex head chef at Paco Tapas. To make it even better, the food will be paired with top quality vegan wines from Stewart Wines, who will be present at the event.

The following is a sneak peek of some of the dishes that will be on offer: leek in a braised leek and thyme stock with romesco, caramelised shallot and chicory with clementine and pistachio and cauliflower al la gallega. This is all set to be a really cosy evening, with a log fire and candles lit!

Speaking about ‘Vegan & Vine’, Head of Communications and Policy Toni Vernelli has said:

“We all have the power to make the world a little kinder, greener and healthier this new year by trying vegan for January. It’s great to see restaurants like The Old Market Assembly embracing this opportunity and providing tasty, satisfying, sustainable options for the growing number of conscious consumers.”
