Where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Bristol this year

Whether you're of Irish descent or not, everybody loves a party on St. Patrick's Day, and there's no shortage of things to do in Bristol this year. From established Irish pubs like Seamus O'Donnell's and Molloy's to one-off themed events at venues like The Fleece and SWX, there's no excuse not to get out this Saturday 17th March and celebrate your Irish heritage (or lack of it) with a few pints of Guinness and a sing-song.
Seamus O'Donnell's, City Centre
Where better to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than the literal and figurative centre of all things Irish in the city of Bristol, Seamus O'Donnell's? Located near St. Nick's Market, right in the centre of town, the bar is one of the best in the area and will be showing the all-important Six Nations fixture between England and Ireland at 2pm. Following that, you can celebrate or commiserate (depending on where your loyalties lie) with a great selection of drinks and snacks before enjoying live music in the evening. Molloy's, City Centre
Another city centre establishment, Molloy's is an institution for Bristol's Irish contingent, and a must for all St. Paddy's Day party-goers looking to get a taste of the Emerald Isle. Serving their classic array of fantastic food and drinks, and of course stocked up to the rafters with Guinness, Molloy's on Baldwin Street are all set to welcome you into one of the best atmospheres in the city. Steam & Shebeen, Clifton
